Ronhan Transformation 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hey Guys,
I wanted to leave a quivk update from Thanksgiving last Thursday. So my plan leading up to that great day was to throw in an extra fast that week which I did (actualy starting the week before the week of the 16th) . I wanted to throw in an extra one just because Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday not only because of the good food but for what it means to me I am incredibly greatful for my life my family and my friends. That said this was my week. monday I fasted my weight down to 192 lbs. Tuesday was an eat day. Wednesday was a fast day it wound up being about a 21 hour fast I took my girlfriend to dinner anda hockey game that night so my fast started at 5:30pm. Thanksgiving day I just ate whatever I wanted that day and enjoyed the day and the company. Friday I steped on the scale 198 lbs. I knew that Friday with all the leftovers would be very tempting so I ate friday as well instead of fasting I started fasting Friday night at midnight (While at work) steped on the scale this afternoon back down to 195lbs. started my first fast today Sunday at 4pm til I have dinner with my grilfriend and her family tomorrow night. Anyway let everyone know this stuff works and I'm glad to be a part of this program.
Thanks Guys

Ronhan
You are an inspiration to us all. I am happy though to hear that you pigged through the pecan pie. I did not so bad up until the pecan pie part.
Sounds like you are having a major and awesome transformation. From the way I see,it everyone in here might be in trouble if the goal is to win the contest because you seem to have this thing figured out pretty good. Keep it up man. The scale will move from day to day but if you stick to your plan I am sure you will be back down to 192 and lower. What is your goal? I am sure you will get there

Hope everyone else is having a good start to the week and making the progress they want.

Ronhan,

Good stuff man. keep it up. Fasting is such a kick ass tool for off setting big holiday dinners like thanksgiving.

I find it is the only way to enjoy holiday eating without feeling guilty.

It's no different than budgeting your money for a big purchase. IF you know you're going to consume 3000 cals on thanksgiving day, then remove 3000 calories somewhere else during the week...this sounds difficult to the average person, but with 2 eat stop eat style fasts its very easy.

Yeah we've got a good crew.

I was thinking of making a limited run of golden army shirts for this crew.

I was thinking something along the lines of 'First Platoon" or something that signifies this group as the original members of the golden army.

I don't know much about military rank and file so I don't really know if platoon sounds right or if there is another better designation we can give this first group.

These shirts will only be offered to our first group of active forum members here.

ie: Ronhan, Burton, Seeker, JJ, Tim, Didrikk, Chris, atscott, Cyprio, choda, alex, Gordon...(maybe 12 of us or so)

If you guys are interested we could do a bit of a group decision on these exact shirts, perhaps sometime in the new year.

What do you guys think?

Golden Army "Boot Camp"... or "First Wave" may be appropriate

Yes, I enjoy this forum. I really feel like I'm among people who come from a similar fitness background... people who generally have a decent amount knowledge about weightlifting and nutrition, yet slightly damaged due to the constant bombardment of concepts born from from supplement marketing, food marketing, magazine marketing, and even some people who's intentions were good, but didn't know any better either.

And bonus!!! this program has paid for itself in the amount of money I've saved in supplements, food, etc.
