Progress 10 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Maybe it would be cooler if more guys posted occasional updates on their AI-progress here to see how the effects work on different people
I'm 178 high (5'10 but ratios work equally well in metric system of course)
bought AI 1st of october, started the 3rd at Waist 83 cm (32,7", so H-W 0,47 -> just fell into Build yay)
Shoulder 113cm (44,5"
AI 1,36

One week into the program at the 8th of october waist stayed the same, shoulders measured 115cm/ 45,3" so AI went up to 1,386

Now I'm four weeks into the program, finished 3 weeks of hypertrophy (due to lack of time to work out 4 days every week i spread out those 3 weeks over the course of 4)
Waist is suddenly down to 80cm/31,5" due to disciplined eating (and lack of money to buy food lol, love to be a student) so H-W is now 0,45 which should be my perfect waist.
However There's still some belly fat, does this mean i need to replace the fat by bigger ABS? Cuz losing another 2 inches of belly fat would get me a way too slim waist i suppose so this will then need to be compensated by bigger stomach muscles?

Shoulders are at 116 cm today /45,7"
So shoulder improvement is not that big
Haven't looked better than this in a while (actually, never, lol), more pronounced pecs already but still developing shoulders seems the hardest part for me.
My AI is now up to 1,45 which is great progress in just 4 weeks, but it seems to be mainly waist, and i cant slim down much more there. My Golden AI would be about the same waist and 128,5cm/50,6" shoulders.
But putting on another crazy 5 inches on my shoulders seems kind of impossible at this point lol.

Anyone has experience with how much shoulder circumference you can averagely put on in a certain time by working out AI?

That is great improvement already!

Shoulder measurement takes time to improve. Keep training, be consistent and be patient, you'll get there.

thanks! yea greatest improvement is that i just feel like looking better, and have girls flirting up to me more than before. i don't honestly care that much about shoulder measurement or my perfect AI, but it's still good to have a goal to work on.

where can we send invoices for having to buy a new wardrobe as our old shirts are getting way too tight? (around the chest, that is)

I'm 1 workout away from completing week 4 and my shoulder measurement (which is approximated. I do the best I can by myself. I think I'm pretty accurate though) seems to have gone up from ~45 to ~45.5 or 46. Waist measurement is the same at 31.5. So that means my AI is somewhere around 1.433 to 1.449. I'm 71 inches tall so my waist is just around where it needs to be (45% height).

One point of interest I've been thinking about: I've been on the creatine for two weeks now and I really do think it makes a difference (as compared to the first two weeks when I didn't have it). I know you are supposed to gain a few pounds right away after starting to take it. One thing that I found interesting is that I gained about 6 pounds (158 to 164) after starting the creatine and a total of about 9 pounds since the start of the program (taking into account the fact that cross country season ended and I stopped running for a while.). Where is all this weight going to if not my waist?

Will finish my 4th week tomorrow.

Started - 5'11" tall, 38.5" waist, 49" shoulders, 197 lbs, AI index - 1.272

Now - 37" waist, 49.5" shoulders, 188-190lbs, AI index - 1.33

I'm 35 so, not surprisingly, I'm struggling with the waist part and not the shoulder part of the ratio. Still, I am confident if I keep plugging away over the winter I'll be able to step up the Eat Stop Eat and reduce the calories even further in the spring to lose more. My goal is to get to 35" waist by Spring.
